Option 1 - add through QR code
- Open your eSphere app and open the “Residence” home icon at the bottom of the screen. Here, you will see all of your current residents. Click the blue “+” icon on the bottom right of the screen.
- A pop up “Add a person” will appear, select “create a visitor”
- Create their profile! Give them a name, assign them as a visitor, give them a description, and enter their phone number (optional). Click “save”
- Scan the QR code with your visitor’s phone to finish setting up their profile
- Review your newly created profile and select “save”
You have now created a visitor and will appear in your Residence Overview
Option 2 - add through search for device
- Open your eSphere app and open the “Residence” home icon at the bottom of the screen. Here, you will see all of your current residents. Click the blue “+” icon on the bottom right of the screen.
- A pop up “Add a person” will appear, select “create a visitor”
- Create their profile! Give them a name, assign them as a visitor, give them a description, and enter their phone number (optional). Click “save”
- select “search for device”, this way you can search for their device that is currently in your device log, select the device you want to assign to the visitor profile
- select the device you want to assign to the visitor profile
- Review and save: ensure that it is the correct visitor information and the correct device, hit “save”
- You have now created a visitor and will appear in your Residence Overview
Option 3 - add through presence alert notification
- After a visitor has visited your home and connected to Wi-Fi multiple times, eSphere recognizes this individual and will send you a notification “iPhone joined WiFi again”. Select “Take Action” to set them up as a visitor
- A pop up will appear, select “Create new profile”
- Enter in the details for this visior: name, category (select Visitor), description, and phone number (optional) and select “Next”
- Review the details curated and select “save”
- Success! Your recognized visitor now has a profile!
